List Of Staff Members
MR. BORU GOLICHA GABABO- MUNICIPAL MANAGER.
Mr. Boru Golicha is the municipal manager and secretary to the board. He has a master’s degree in strategic management from Africa Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Science degree in community development from Egerton University. He has a 10-year experience in the NGO world serving in various capacities. A highly organized and meticulous manager, he served as the town administrator for Marsabit town for 6 years prior to his current position.
MRS. HALIMA BARGE- SECRETARY.
Madam Halima is the longest serving secretary in our esteem office having more than twenty years’ experience; she has a diploma in secretariat. She also worked with various department in national government and former county council in Saku constituency.
HUSSEIN DUBA – FINANCE OFFICER
Mr. Hussein is the municipal accountant. He has master in msc finance & investment, and bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance with CPA(k). He has over 10 years’ experience in the field of accounting and finance having worked with soliton Telmec ltd co. and county government of Marsabit.
PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT
MR. GOLLO OGAH PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICER
Mr. Gollo is the principal public health officer at Marsabit municipality; He has Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, he served as public health officer at Marsabit referral hospital for 25years before his secondment to municipality.
MRS NAYE HIDO MALE – PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICER
Mrs. Naye is also serving municipality as public health officer; she has master’s degree in environmental health and has work experience of 6 years.
MR. MAMO DABASSO – ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER
Mr. Mamo Dabasso is the senior Environmental officer. He has master’s degree in business Administration (project management) and Bachelor’s degree in Environmental studies (community development) from Kenyatta University. He has been working with Marsabit County since 2013.
MRS. ADHI SORA MUDA – ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER
Mrs. Adhi Sora is also environmental officer. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental studies (community development). She previously worked with national drought management Authority (NDMA) as research assistant for two and a half years.,and currently serving this county for now five years.
MR. ALI HARO YATTANI – URBAN DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Mr. Ali Haro is the urban development officer; He has bachelors’ degree in development studies from Jomo Kenyatta University of agriculture and technology. He has served as hunger safety net programme enumerator at Care Kenya organization for a period of six months before he was appointed to his current position, which he has served for now eight years.
MR. NOOR LESIRANGONG`U – SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER
Mr. Noor is our supply chain officer; he has diploma in procurement and logistics management.
He has four years’ experience in the field of procurement at county government of Marsabit having worked with various departments.
